Training Academy
We are proud to announce the opening of our Training Academy. During my extensive training in the industry I have found what works and what doesn’t and have now created my own training environment to ensure that all trainees leave here with the confidence to carry out treatments and have constant support from ourselves so that if they are unsure of anything or find themselves in a situation they are uncomfortable with they always have us to call on.
Please note all courses will require an informal interview to enable us to make certain you have chosen the correct course for your future pathway in aesthetics.
This course has been developed for beginners in the beauty and aesthetics industry or existing practitioners and beauty therapists in the art of creating semi permanent make-up (brows). This course has no pre requisite but pre study given will give to enable a good level of knowledge concerning the anatomy and physiology of the skin is understood to optimise the competency outcome of the course. The course involves theory and practical and will give a good understanding of the use of a digital machine to create the semi permanent brows and the practical ability to perform safe and competent treatments. There is a written exam and all practical observations will be assessed, all aspects of the course will have to be completed and a competency certificate will be given on completion of all aspects of the course including 5 case studies which must be completed within 3 months of the course start date.
SPMU - Brows only
SPMU - Brows, eyeliner & lips
This course has been developed for beginners in the beauty and aesthetics industry or existing practitioners and beauty therapists in the art of creating semi permanent make-up (brows – eyeliner and lips ). This course has no pre requisite but pre study given will give you a good level of knowledge concerning the anatomy and physiology of the skin is understood to optimise the competency outcome of the course. The course involves theory and practical and will give a good understanding of the use of a machine to create the semi permanent brows eyeliner lip liner and lip blush and the practical ability to perform safe and competent treatments. There is a written exam and all practical observations will be assessed, all aspects of the course will have to be completed and a competency certificate will be given on completion of all aspects of the course including 5 case studies which must be completed within 3 months of the course start date.
Foundation Dermal Filler Course
This course has been developed for aesthetic practitioners to administer dermal filler to the lips, nose to mouth lines and the marionette lines of the lower face area. There is a pre requisite for course acceptance and 35 hours of pre study will be given prior to the course, this must be completed before your course starts as it will give you underpinning knowledge which will prepare you for the dermal filler course. The course involves theory and practical and will give a good understanding of dermal fillers as well as the practical ability to perform safe and competent treatments. There is a written exam and all practical observations will be assessed, all aspects of the course must be completed to receive a competency certificate.
Dermaplaning
This course has been developed for aesthetic practitioners and skin specialists to deliver a very effective and simple procedure to remove excess skin and hair from the face. This treatment has become extremely popular with both practitioners and skin specialists in the beauty industry. The course will involve pre study and has a pre requisite. Theory and practical ability will be assessed and an exam will demonstrate understanding and competency.
